Do you check food blogs religiously? Do you often pine over the recipes and think that whatever you’re doing can’t end quick enough for you to have that delicious thing in your belly? Do you spot a recipe online and think to yourself, “Oh man, that looks really good. You know what would kick things up a notch? If they added _____!”
Us too! Liz and I spent a great deal of time doing all of these things and we finally decided to take action and create Pie Drunk. It is our understanding that all food can be made better one way or another and hopefully you will tag along for the ride on this taste-experimentation train of a blog. We will be serving up a cavalcade of desserts, entrees, appetizers, and cocktails that can be found in gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegetarian form.
And as to not act blasphemously toward our namesake, we will feature a ‘Pie of the Month’ to kick off the start of every month. We try not to discriminate with our pie consumption so these pies will be anything from cream, fruit, savory, pizza, lattice, slab, dutch, and even pie bars. Gadzooks!
